Why they chose their location:
“We absolutely love Louisiana,”
Christy said. “We travel to New
Orleans every few months and
knew we wanted to incorporate
some Cajun flair into our special
day. We were on the hunt for a
plantation with history, gor-
geous oaks, fabulous food and
convenient lodging. After looking
extensively, we found this gem,
the sugar-cane plantation of the
South, and fell in love. We knew
right away this was our dream
location. It was one of the most
breathtaking places I’ve ever seen.
We felt this plantation, above all
others, encapsulated everything
we were looking for. It was the
perfect representation of us.”

Why she chose the Bridal Loft:
“I had no intentions of buying a
dress on the day I was browsing
around the Bridal Loft. I had
just purchased a dress online
that didn’t fit me properly. After
making a quick sweep of the
boutique’s bridal collections, I
was intent on leaving when I
happened to see this gorgeous
lace peeking out at me. My dad
purchased the dress that very day.
The Bridal Loft is a comfortable,
laidback atmosphere with a huge
selection of styles. Finding a gown
was quick and easy, exactly how I
like to shop.”

Why she chose her La Sposa by
Pronovias gown: “I’m a sucker
for gorgeous lace, and this dress
has multiple layers of beautiful
Spanish lace. The textures are
endless, from subtle beadwork
that extends to the floor under a
long layer of tulle that’s draped
in layers of lace. This dress has
so many dimensions; it is almost
like two dresses. It is fitted, yet
flowing. It is timeless but also has
a modern, fashionable touch.”
